Creating a Comprehensive Digital Program Library Using Kajabi to Elevate Professional Development

Many business owners are turning to digital courses and coaching programs and professional educators are no exception. My client’s vision was to build a digital library of programs inside their Kajabi that would allow others in their field to build on their expertise and get specialized support. Building this has not only allowed my client’s vision to come to life but it has brought a whole new revenue stream to their business.

Introduction

As a professional educator with decades of experience under their belt, my client wanted to turn some of their previously recorded videos into digital programs that would allow them to provide 1:many support for others in their field. 

As a busy educator also running a private practice, my client had no desire to attempt this on their own. Using Kajabi as their platform of choice, we have built and continue to build out several programs each year with accompanying launches, bringing in a multiple six figure revenue stream each year.

This case study delves into the strategic implementation of Kajabi’s robust features, showcasing the client’s journey toward establishing a thriving online education platform.

Client Background

My client is a renowned expert in their professional field, with decades of experience and rapport teaching their global audience specialized skills and techniques in their industry.

When they came to me to set up their first program, they also expressed their desire to build out additional programs using some of their pre-recorded videos that they previously sold on their website. They wanted to run these programs in a 1:many structure so they could also provide support inside of the programs. 

Inside their programs, students have direct access to them through interactive communities and live Q&A sessions which helps ensure the success of each student. 

Together, we have built a digital home for their programs which are run live. In addition to building out programs from their pre-recorded videos, my client routinely records new programs that we build out and launch throughout the year.

Challenges

Before my client hired me to handle the build-outs, they already had an idea of how they wanted it to look with frequent launches and re-launches but they needed help with the tech build out and integration. 

They needed someone well-versed in Kajabi to ensure that each program was set up and integrated properly, creating a seamless experience for their students. 

We began with one project and upon completion of that, we moved to a monthly retainer format due to their desire to build out and launch several programs each year.

Objectives

My client already had the plan of what needed to be done so with that information, we were able to establish how I could help them build out their Kajabi to meet their goals. 

  • Build out comprehensive live group programs with organized video modules and training materials.
  • Implement a weekly drip-release system for lessons and assignments.
  • Establish different price points for doctors and students, with planned price increases throughout the launch period.
  • Implement an application process to admit qualified students.
  • Automate as much of the process as possible to eliminate the need for someone to be online during cart open, cart close, price increases, etc.
  • Continuously launch new programs and re-launch new cohorts of existing programs.

Why Kajabi?

Kajabi was chosen for its robust features and the ability for my client to scale their business with multiple products. We use multiple offers and checkout pages for each program as well as tagging and automations, events and countdown timers, and email marketing for launches and program information.

Kajabi’s member progress reports are also more comprehensive, allowing my client to see how much of each module has been completed. As they issue certificates based on program completion, this is important information for them to know. 

Solution

With my Kajabi setup and tech integration services, we have been able to bring my client’s vision to life by building out multiple programs each year. Each program brings a live component with direct access to my client for additional support. Lessons are dripped out on a weekly basis. Three days after the lesson drips out, the associated assignment drips out, giving students some breathing space to process the lesson before diving into the assignment.

We set up multiple offers for both sides of their audience: doctors and students ; as well as price increases throughout the launch. All of this was automated using Kajabi’s automations and countdown timers which allows a smooth redirect from one price point to the next. Since the deadline is the same for each student, we are able to use Kajabi’s countdown automations which eliminates the need for additional tools.

While their programs each contain an application process, we have them set up so the application redirects to the checkout page immediately. This minimizes tracking down payments and sending reminders as most of the applicants are qualified.

We routinely use the email marketing in Kajabi to send the launch emails as well as Live Q&A reminders and replays. Automated emails are set up when someone enrolls in each program so they receive important information on when the program begins, where to find the schedule, etc.

Results and Benefits

Each program brings in 30-50 students, typically generating multiple five figures each launch. Many of the students are repeat buyers due to my client’s expertise and rapport. 

Students value the flexibility of the digital nature of the programs which allows them to build on their skillset on their own time while also receiving support from their instructor.

They also appreciate the prompt application of what they are taught which allows them to become a go-to expert in their community.
